Description
They are designed for heavy loads and their load carrying capacity is high. It is less sensitive to axis misalignment and has a long service life, high sensitivity and low sensitive operating accuracy, and low friction torque. The load on the rollers is transported by linear contact on the rolling surfaces, and this feature provides more load-bearing capacity than ball bearings. Tapered roller bearings are axle roller bearings in which the rollers are conical in shape instead of straight linear rollers. Due to the fact that it is a cylinder, it provides resistance to thrust loads in addition to radial loads. One of the most well-known applications of tapered roller bearings is center hub bearings for automobile wheels.
